What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Services Assistant position at Dermatology Medical Partners?
- Greet and welcome all new patients and visitors to the practice
- Directs patients to proper areas
- Review next day’s schedule and make any notes needed
- Handle faxes that come through
- Support Front Desk associates by varying insurance
- Answer questions and offer other information, as requested, to provide patient-focused service and a positive impression of the practice
- Other duties as assigned
- 1 plus years’ experience customer service
- Dermatology experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Strong attention to detail required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and work in a fast paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to spend a great deal of the day walking, standing, moving and manipulating equipment, as well as lifting and moving objects, equipment and supplies. It is reasonable to anticipate lifting 20-25 pounds in any given day.

Par Range: $15-$17 per hour depending on experience
