What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dermatology Front Desk Superviser position at Dermatology, PLLC?
**Candidates must know how to use the Modernizing Medicine (Aka: ModMed / EMA) electronic medical records platform**
We are looking for a candidate who enjoys working in a small team atmosphere rather than a institution-type environment, working in a medium-paced environment, but above all, loves working with people and educating patients about medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and skincare.
Candidates must have an outgoing personality and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to our patients. Applicants must be professional, positive, personable, responsible and well spoken.
As a front desk superviser
- Manage incoming calls and answer patient questions regarding medical appointments, cosmetic consultation process, basic explanation of products and treatments
- Create a white glove concierge experience for patients checking in
- Schedule appointments for new and returning patients
- Be knowledgeable, passionate, and initiate sales process by scheduling appointments, for medical dermatology and cosmetic non-surgical dermatology procedures including, but not limited to, Botox, fillers, lasers, RFmicroneedling, and energy based devises, to educate patients about options during phone inquiries
- Expand knowledge of existing patients by introducing new products and services
- Create and nourish patient retention through education on additional products and services
- Be knowledgeable in insurance types and the process of confirming patient eligibility
- Collect applicable consultation fees, treatment payments, co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles from patients
- Inputting patient information into electronic medical record
- Verify benefits and inform patients of their respective insurance coverage
- Maintaining daily schedule and limiting patient wait time
- Have a team player attitude and energetic, with outstanding organizational skills
- Perform tasks and duties as outlined by Chief Operations Manager and physician
- Become knowledgeable of healthcare administrative systems, billing, HIPAA and OSHA policies, pursuant to the federal, state and local law and the practice's policies and protocols
- Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities
- Supervise existing in-person and virtual front desk staff
- Manage provider's schedule
