MA/Patient Coordinator Description
DermFx is looking for a passionate front office coordinator/medical assistant for our Redondo Beach location. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment that focuses on enhancing the client experience and company culture. This is an hourly position that includes weekend hours. Must possess an active Medical Assistant certification.
Job Description:
- Take before and after photos
- Welcome patients into the office
- Check patients out using our point of sale system
- Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments
- Actively participate in product sales
- Check patients out and take payments
- Ensure patients have completed all necessary consent forms
- Effectively clean and sanitize treatment rooms up to health standards
- Administer medications
- Assist with all medical procedures, including prepping or drawing up any injectables and laser treatments
- Accurately complete and update medical charts and records

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Looking to gain medical or aesthetics experience
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about medical aesthetics, dermatology, and/or skincare
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Skincare/dermatology/aesthetics: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Salary : $19 - $23
