Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures, ensuring quality and hygiene standards are met.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry materials, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
- Supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Implement housekeeping management practices to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Address guest requests promptly and professionally, enhancing their overall satisfaction with their stay.
- Conduct regular rounds / inspections of guest rooms and common areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and supervise a team effectively.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management principles and practices.
- Proficient in laundering techniques for various fabrics and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality service.
