Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking, a keen eye for detail, and a love for BBQ cuisine. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that each plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including grills, smokers, and fryers.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets our presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Handle and store ingredients properly to maintain freshness and quality.
- Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, particularly BBQ and grilling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Food Handler's certification (preferred).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
