We are currently seeking a motivated and talented IT Help Desk Intern to join our Information Technology team. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of IT support and help desk operations.
As an IT Help Desk Intern, you will have the opportunity to assist in providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal employees. You will work closely with experienced IT professionals, learning valuable skills and contributing to the smooth functioning of our IT systems. This role requires a passion for technology, excellent communication skills, and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of IT support.
Responsibilities :
- Provide first-level technical support to employees by answering incoming support requests via phone, email, or in-person, and promptly resolving or escalating issues as required.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the IT team to assist in the management of user accounts and permissions.
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and user guides.
- Provide basic training and guidance to users on the use of technology tools and applications.
- Assist in the setup and support of audiovisual equipment for meetings and presentations.
- Perform other IT support duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications :
Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation and ability to work well in a team.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
Prior experience in IT support or customer service roles is a plus.
Note : This internship has a duration of approximately 3 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
