What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Instructor/Private Swim Instructor (Seasonal) - Ages 16+ position at Derry Township Community Center?
The Derry Township Parks and Recreation is looking to hire Swim Instructors for the Derry Township Community Center. The Swim Instructor plans, organizes, and execute lesson plans, communicates descriptively and effectively with all ages, maintains a safe teaching environment, is comfortable with an instructor/student ratio of 1:4 or 1:6 based on ability level, and provides for the overall general health, safety, instruction, and enjoyment of lesson participants. The position works under the supervision of the Aquatics Specialist.
Previous swim instruction required.
Clearances and certifications must be obtained prior to the beginning of employment.
