We are looking for an experienced driver to assist Opperations and Safety with truck shuttling for repairs and administering road tests to new potential drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Shuttle trucks to and from vendors for repairs and preventable maintenance.
- Assess trucks for integrity and performance before and after vehicle use.
- Perform Road Tests and grade driver applicants for pre-employment screening.
- Communicate with recruiting, opperations, and safety regarding road test results and truck satus.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL A with at least 2 years of recent 53ft tractor trailer experience.
- Clean Driving Record
- Detail Oriented
- Good Assessment Skills
- Knowledgable of current DOT laws and regulations
- Flexible Schedule (able to come in when needed)
- Ability to operarate technology such as phones for updates.
Shift:
Monday-Friday as needed.
Will be contated the morning of for shuttle work, and often several days in advance for Road Tests.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to enter and exit semi-trucks as needed and work in all weather conditions.
