What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Shop Helper- Data Entry position at DES MICRO PRECISION GROUP LLC?
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
- Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Strong blueprint reading needed but willing to train
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes like CNC milling, turning
- Deburring and cleaning machined parts, performing quality checks, and preparing parts for shipment when needed.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively with multiple teams, including Purchasing, Engineering, Assembly, and the Machine Shop (main point of contact).
- Cleaning and organizing work areas, maintaining equipment, and ensuring tools are in good condition.
- Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment
- Ability to communicate openly and effectively to provide real-time feedback
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Must have the ability to react to production situations constructively working with a sense of urgency and in a team environment.
- Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work in an organized and timely manner.
- Must be honest, trustworthy, safe, accurate, timely, cooperative, and conscientious in all Compco activities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Must have a desire for growth.
- High school required
- US Citizenship or permanent residency required.
