Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the daily operations of the copy center, mail services, and central receiving functions. Ensures the timely and high-quality production of printed materials, effective mail processing, and efficient handling of shipments, while providing excellent customer service to faculty, staff, and students.
Essential Functions
Program and operate high-volume duplicating equipment according to job specifications, ensuring proper feed modes, paper selection, and finishing processes. Perform finishing operations, such as binding, folding, cutting, and three-hole punching, using specialized equipment.
Receive, inspect, sort, and deliver packages and mail for the campus community. Process outgoing mail and packages through USPS, UPS, and other shipping systems.
Perform routine maintenance on printing and mail equipment. Troubleshoot and correct minor mechanical issues. Maintain sufficient stock of supplies for duplicating and mailing needs. Order necessary materials and track inventory levels.
Provide support to faculty and staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and cost efficiency. Maintain accurate records of charges and prepare detailed usage and billing reports as required. Track and process internal and external charges for services rendered. Collaborate with Purchasing and Central Services on special projects and initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to operate high-volume copiers, Pitney Bowes Ship Pro, and other relevant software.
Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
Ability to plan, organize and manage time.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
Ability to operate high-volume copiers, Pitney Bowes Ship Pro, and other relevant software.
Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
Ability to plan, organize and manage time.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds.
Desired Qualifications
Two years of experience in copy center, print shop, or bindery operations.
Experience in shipping and receiving.
Forklift certification.
