Job Summary : Report to the Director of Library Resources with primary responsibilities for operational oversight of the Boone Campus Library. May include some evening hours.
Essential Functions
- Provides oversight for daily activities of the library at the Boone campus and support for the Library Specialist(s), Library Assistants, and Adjunct Librarians.
- Maintain current library programs as well as create and implement new library initiatives.
- Coordinate proven and innovative ideas and best practices to establish cohesive marketing and communication strategies supporting successful engagement and IL programs.
- Provide reference and research assistance to students, faculty and staff in-person, on the phone, through email / chat.
- Develop and deliver workshop / instruction opportunities for students, faculty, and staff inline with the mission of the Libraries.
- Compile and maintain statistical reports of selected library activities.
