Job Summary
Provide one-on-one coaching for small businesses and non-profit organizations, with a focus on underserved and underrepresented populations. Support the daily operations of the Evelyn K. Davis Center Small Business Solutions program.
Essential Functions
Provide coaching and consultation services to existing business owners and individuals pursuing opportunities.
Assist clients in identifying goals and developing business plans.
Develop Assist with educational workshops and provide relevant resources.
Conduct community outreach and recruitment of businesses for coaching services.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, education, communications, or related field plus two years of experience working with small businesses and/or nonprofit organizations.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and to prepare and deliver public presentations.
Familiarity with small business ownership and the process of starting up a business
Familiarity with small business ownership and the process of starting up a business
Ability to plan, organize and manage time.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds.

Knowledge of current software applications.
Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule.
Desired Qualifications
Fluency in a language other than English
