Job Summary
Provide technical payroll and benefits transaction functions.
Essential Functions
Review, verify and input data related to credit and non-credit adjunct faculty pay including : sub pay, additional pay, an adjunct orientation and training pay.
Assist Benefits Coordinator by processing all mandatory and voluntary insurance deductions for employees including running monthly reports and updating associated spreadsheets. File all related documents for employee benefits in confidential medical files. Collect, review and process all wellness reimbursements including updating spreadsheet for tracking purposes. Prep and scan confidential medical files into Banner as well as scanning monthly financials. Maintain filing system for college-wide vaccine declinations. Assist with leave balance tracking and fiscal year end corrections. Assist with benefits projects on an ad hoc basis.
Assist with the preparation and review of on-boarding employee documents and checking time sheets. Organize and maintain payroll department email inbox. Serve as back up to Payroll Specialist 1. Provide back up for front office reception duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
