What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician Assistant position at Des Moines Golf And Country Club?
We are hiring for a part time Maintenance Technician Assistant to work alongside the Engineering Department team preparing for the opening of the summer season. This position will be involved in opening of the pools, Racquets dome removal, setting up outdoor furniture and spaces, painting, and light maintenance.

Work hours will vary and sometimes will be weather dependent and a typical work week could be between 15 and 28 hours per week. Ideally this candidate will be available in the mornings, however we are open to a flexible work schedule for the right candidate.
Ideally this position will begin March 1 and go through the end of June. A successful candidate will be able to request to cross train in other departments to be able to work through the end of the Season.
Must be punctual, reliable and show initiative and demonstrate the ability to learn and follow directions. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, good with their hands working with tools and have a neat appearance.
