General Summary:
Maintains the reputation of the Clubs high standards by providing Professional assistance for the members and their guests in the locker rooms affiliated with the Club golf course. Responsible for operation safety, cleanliness and food and beverage of the locker room area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Requisitions sanitations, hygiene and shoe supplies as needed.
- Ensures that members have locks, lockers, towels, soap, and other supplies.
- Keeps track of empty lockers for accounting office and assigns guests lockers and locks.
- Maintains cleanliness of entire locker room area. Picks up soiled towels, mops floors, cleans lockers, keeps toilet and shower areas clean, etc.
- Provides food and beverage service as requested by members and submits necessary charge slips to the accounting office.
- Provides shoeshine and shoe care and charges for service and equipment provided.
- Washes towels and returns shoes to members lockers as time allows.
- Ensures that provisions of shampoo, hair spray, etc. are provided in sufficient quantity.
- Must be courteous and tactful with all members, guests, and children.
- Enforces Club policies according to the Club Directory and reports violations to the Clubhouse Manager.
- Must have an acute awareness of sanitation requirements.
- Keeps the general appearance of the locker room neat, clean, and orderly.
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit; use hands and fingers to feel, handle or carry. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms; to climb, balance, stoop, kneel and crouch. Employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Prior experience in Customer Service and Food & Beverage is required.
- Ability to always provide service excellence.
