What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ortho Tech position at Des Moines Orthopaedic Surgeons?
As an Ortho Tech at DMOS working in Ankeny full-time, you'll help our patients get back to living by taking an important step in their care: gathering basic information to efficiently support the Physician during a patient's appointment. Every day you will work alongside our Physicians and fellow clinical team members to create a comfortable patient experience, ensuring everyone gets seen in a timely fashion. To thrive in this role, you have a passion for patient care and orthopaedic field.
Here’s What You Can Expect
- You'll be on your feet most of the day greeting and preparing patients for their Orthopaedic appointment. You are the patient's kind guide and reliable helper during their appointment assisting with casting, cast removal and wound care.
- Reaching, stooping, and walking while assisting patients with their care during appointments
- A small, close-knit team of professionals you can rely on who work closely with our doctors to provide patient care we are proud of.
