Concrete Field-Testing Technician (ACI Certification is Required)

We are now hiring a part-time or full-time Concrete Field-Testing Technician (ACI Certification is Required)

The individual will be accountable for maintaining the quality and consistency of our concrete products. Your main responsibility will be to perform thorough testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished concrete products to ensure they adhere to industry standards and specifications.

Essential job duties and responsibilities:

· Pre-pour and post-pour inspection of precast concrete products to assure products conform to specifications.

· Testing of concrete to assure concrete meets project specifications.

· Perform moisture test, sieve analysis, spread test and slump test.

· Maintain detailed records of test results, inspections, and any quality-related issues encountered during production.

· Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines while performing testing activities.

· Interact with State, County and internal employees.

· Coordinates production activities with the team to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.

· Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operation or production problems.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

• Minimum of 3 years prior or related experience required in precast concrete.

• ACI Certification (Required)

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

• Must be comfortable in a plant environment following any weather conditions.

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, knee, or squat for extended periods while conducting tests, taking measurements, or monitoring the concrete pour.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
