ASSOCIATE DEAN OF PERFORMING ARTS
OVERVIEW:
DeSales University, in Center Valley, PA, is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Salesian, Catholic university, under the leadership of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales. Founded in 1965, the 550-acre suburban campus is located 50 miles north of Philadelphia and about 90 miles southwest of New York City. A total enrollment of nearly 3,500 includes undergraduate day and evening students, and graduate students. POSITION SUMMARY:
This 12- month full-time position reports to the Dean of the College of Arts, Education, and Humanities. The Associate Dean supports the Dean by providing leadership and administrative oversight for the Theatre, Dance, and TV/Film departments. This role supports artistic and academic excellence, interdepartmental collaboration, and community engagement. The Associate Dean plays a key role in supporting ACT 1, the Theatre program’s production unit, ensuring it serves as a high caliber performance initiative and an essential experiential learning opportunity for students in the School of Performing Arts.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Terminal degree (MFA, PhD, or equivalent) in Theatre, Dance, TV/Film, or a related field.
- Administrative experience in higher education and performing arts leadership.
