POSITION SUMMARY
The DPT Program Assistant serves as the main administrative support for the Program Director and the didactic faculty, facilitating efficient daily operations. The individual assists the program director in collecting and managing data needed for ongoing program assessment and reporting to the University and to the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). The DPT Program Assistant communicates with applicants to the graduate program and works with the program director and DPT Admissions Task Force to coordinate the activities that occur in the annual recruitment cycle for the graduate program. The position also provides supplementary support for the Director of Clinical Education on a cyclical basis related to the placement and progression of graduate students in the clinical education aspects of the curriculum.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma required; college degree preferred
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
- 2-3 years of related experience in a higher education environment or customer service-based industry
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, experience with database programs preferred
- Possess and be able to use math skills to provide accurate financial and other data accounting
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Dedicated to the mission of the DPT Program and the University
- Occasional attendance at Program functions outside of standard work hours
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, balance responsibilities, and complete assignments in a timely manner
