Job Summary

Designing mainly t-shirt graphics (and initial logo) for launch of lifestyle brand to compete with an existing brand which is kinda posing as something it is not and has left itself open to competition (specifics to be discussed in interview). Target market is blue collar workers who are happy to pay for quality domestic goods. All products will be made and printed in the US. Creativity, wit and the ability to create designs based on brainstorming with others are essential requirements. This could develop into a general manager or head of department type of role. Duties

• Develop and design compelling graphics for apparel, social media, websites, and print materials.
• Create logos and branding elements that effectively communicate the company’s vision.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative designs into projects.
• Maintain organized files for all design projects to ensure easy access and collaboration with other artists.

Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or a preferred appropriate graphic arts program.
• Ability to hand draw based on descriptions and the ideas of others less talented in that regard is essential (by "others," I mostly mean me).
• Strong skills working with XTool laser cutter/engraver is a plus, as we can make prototype print screens with this machine.
• Familiarity with traditional and laser screen printing is a plus.
• Ability to create eye-catching designs that resonate with target audiences.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with team members is crucial.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Web design is a plus but not a requirement.
• Tattoo artists are welcome to apply, if you feel this is also in your wheelhouse.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
