We are looking for a highly skilled and reliable Lead HVAC Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing HVAC installations while also estimating project costs and leading the sales process to ensure we meet both customer needs and company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
• Conduct on-site assessments to determine installation requirements and customer needs, offering expert recommendations for system upgrades or replacements, while ensuringminimal disruptionto clients and operations.
• Provide accurate estimates for HVAC installation projects, ensuring clear communication about project scope, costs, and benefits.
• Contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities to recommend additional services when beneficial to the customer, ensuring they receive the best value, and delivering outstanding service that builds long-term customer trust and satisfaction.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine HVAC system requirements.
• Perform inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with Deschutes Climate main office, contractors, suppliers, and other professionals to ensure project milestones are met, within budget & to the highest standards
• Perform system start-ups and ensure proper functionality of installed systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including time sheets, service reports, and materials used.
• Maintain and organize installation equipment, tools, and materials.
• Provide exceptional customer service with integrity, addressing any client questions and/or concerns before, during and after installation [or service].
• Promote a safe & productive work environment by following all health and safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of equipment and materials.

Qualifications:

· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential & commercial HVAC installation

· Sales & Estimating: Proven experience in HVAC sales, estimating, and creating accurate project proposals. Ability to convert leads into sales by effectively communicating the value of services.

· Certifications: EPA Certification. NATE Certification [or willing to get NATE certified.]

· Technical Skills: Proficient in installing, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC systems. Strong knowledge of HVAC tools and equipment.

· Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address issues during the installation process.

· Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills.

· Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and endure physically demanding tasks.

· Valid Driver's License: Must have a clean driving record and be able to transport tools and materials to job sites
