Deschutes County Behavioral Health (DCBH) is the Community Mental Health Program providing safety net and core clinical services for community members in Deschutes County dealing with mental health and substance use conditions. DCBH is also a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). As such, DCBH relies on multi-disciplinary teams to provide innovative, evidence-based, recovery-oriented services in behavioral healthcare settings co-located with physical health providers.

ABOUT THE JOB:
The Administrative Support Specialist provides critical administrative support services as part of a dynamic team of administrative professionals for the Adult Outpatient Team. The Adult Outpatient Team utilizes an integrated model that treats co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, partnering with medical providers to support a whole health approach to recovery wellness. This position is primarily based in Bend though travel to and working at other sites in Bend, La Pine and Redmond will be required on occasion.

- Applies independent judgment to resolving problems, analyzing data, and making decisions.
- Manages special projects, calendars, data management, accounting, and research.
- Schedule meetings, track agenda items, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Provides administrative management of sensitive and confidential issues, including running reports.
Knowledge of or experience with:
- The role of administrative support in a healthcare setting.
- Various computer programs including, but not limited to, Electronic Health Records systems, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Munis, etc.
- Techniques for engaging with the public, both in person and over the phone.
- Clear communication and problem solving.
- Prioritizing multiple tasks, projects, and demands.
- Creating professional documents and correspondence with brief instructions.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent;
- AND four (4) years of administrative support experience;
- OR any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish language.
- Knowledge of EHR software, specifically the EPIC/OCHIN platform.
