This is a new area of our store and it's a fun and great opportunity to be part of something new. You will be part of the amazing team we have at this newly remodeled Deseret Book store! In the Sweet Retreat we will be selling the famous BYU Creamery Ice Cream. If you enjoy working with other energetic team members and like the thought of making people happy as you sell them treats this is the job for you!

The Deseret Book Store in Salt Lake City, Utah is excited to announce an opening for a Full Time Supervisor in the Sweet Retreat - featuring BYU Creamery Ice Cream! We are looking for candidates who will:
- Cheerfully and eagerly assist customers
- Monitor food supplies in a timely manner
- Keep the Sweet Retreat clean and organized
- Maintain a high standard of excellence
- Oversee retail store operations such as cashiering, merchandise presentation, shipping/receiving, store recovery, etc
- Supervise, train, and motivate store associates
- Give assignments and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Perform store opening and closing assignments
**This position requires flexible availability on days, evenings, and Saturdays**
We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to coach and lead store associates
- Ability to see problems and work proactively to correct them
- Self-motivated with good team skills
- Basic janitorial duties
- Food handler's permit required or ability to acquire one
