What are the responsibilities and job description for the Provider Relations Specialist - Temporary 1 Year Position position at Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators?
DMBA (Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators) is a non-profit organization that administers benefits for companies who are owned or affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Introduction:
Healthcare Systems oversees network management contracts for providers and facilities. This includes contracting, maintaining relationships and issue resolution for appeals and requests. The Provider Relations Team is responsible for and maintains over 13,000 provider records. This position helps to ensure accurate, effective and efficient responses to our providers. This is a temporary 12 month position.
Duties:
- Resolves provider contracting issues
- Serves as liaison between healthcare providers and Deseret Mutual
- Provider application processing
- Provider record updates
- Credentialing
- Appeals and inquiry resolution
- Answer incoming phone calls
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be organized and able to multi task
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Efficient data entry skills with a particular attention for detail
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Prefer experience with processing AMISYS claims
- Strong working knowledge of DMBA operations.
