Job Summary for Bus Driver include:
• Class A or B driver’s license with a “P” and “S” endorsement
• A current DL45 (California Highway Patrol Special School Bus Certificate)
• A current DL51A (Medical Examiner’s Certificate)
• High School Diploma or equivalent to ensure the ability to read, write, and communicate for successful job performance.
• Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation clearance
• TB clearance
• Pre-employment District physical examination including drug and alcohol screening clearance
• Possession of a valid first aid certificate within six months of appointment to the position
• Possession of a valid CPR certificate within six months of appointment to the position
• Random drug and alcohol testing is required as per Federal law.
Maintenance worker qualifications include: basic landscaping, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, painting, roofing, floor and ceiling coverings, and well as a working knowledge of HVAC systems. Safety rules and regulations associated with maintenance work including MS/DS, asbestos and lead paint reporting, OSHA standards, etc.
