Position Summary
Under direct supervision of the Warehouse & Transportation Manager; the Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping of items associated with a warehouse operation. Ensures inventory levels are sufficient to meet business needs and proactively collaborates with internal and external guests to maintain an effective and efficient flow of Food & Beverage products, supplies, documents, and furniture, fixture, and equipment (FF&E) through-out a multi-property gaming and entertainment enterprise.

Education And Experience
Associates’ Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Business Administration or Management plus 3 years’ experience with an automated materials management system. 2 of the 3 years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant and direct experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and be insurable (for driving). No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, And Certifications
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel crouch, or crawl and be able to reach out and pick-up and hold small objects. The team member frequently is required to stand; walk; and talk or hear. The team member occasionally is required to sit; and taste or hear. The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Work Environment
Work is generally performed in a warehouse setting with a moderate to high noise level as well as outdoors at maintenance sites. Situations where safety-toe shoes, safety goggles, gloves, protective face shields or hardhats are needed may arise. Some work is performed in a casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level. Evening, graveyard, holiday and/or weekend work may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with all State, Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) of the Tohono O’odham Gaming Office (TOGO).
- Ensures personnel ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
- Ensures supplies and materials are counted and matched to packing slip.
- Supervises Warehouse personnel.
- Assists in hiring, termination, and discipline of subordinate Warehouse personnel.
- Assigns overtime on an as needed basis only.
- Assists with the planning and budget preparation for the department.
- Assists in creating and issuing reports and documentation Plans and administers work schedules and assignments for direct reports.
- Monitors the performance of direct reports, ensuring adherence to all Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise (TOGE) and departmental policies and procedures.
- Issues appropriate disciplinary action according to TOGE and departmental policies.
- Creates schedules to ensure adequate coverage and staffing levels to accomplish the Warehouse goals and objectives.
- Approves and inputs bi-weekly payroll for team members.
- Plans, coordinates, and publishes work of subordinates.
- Trains, motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of team members.
- Plans layout of warehouse and stockrooms considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
- Provides superior guest service to supported business units and profit centers.
- Liaisons with buyers to ensure product availability to meet business needs, delivery schedules, and effectively resolve problems/discrepancies.
- Follows up on discrepancies and inconsistencies with purchase order pricing.
- Establishes the Cycle Counting Program to continuously improve inventory accuracy and collaborates with Accounting for administration of inventory accounts and adjustments.
- Protects inventory and property against shrinkage and theft.
- Actively coordinates with supported managers/supervisors to continually evaluate stocked items, inventory stock levels, and makes changes as required.
- Generates stock replenishment purchase requests in sourcing and materials management system.
- Monitors the unloading of all supplies and materials into the warehouse.
- Directs/performs receipt processing of merchandise into inventory or delivery of direct purchases and prepares receiving reports.
- Resolves discrepancies regarding invoices, packing slips and receiver reports.
- Coordinates with Accounts Payable Department to resolve invoicing discrepancies.
- Ships packages and freight. Coordinates pickup with vendors. Delivers inventory and supplies to branch locations.
- Directs/performs the picking up and delivery of stock requests to business units/profit centers.
- Processes stock transfers between inventory departments.
- Restocks as merchandise arrives and rotates stock in an orderly manner.
- Supports asset movement requests from administrative and operational departments with manpower and material handling equipment.
- Establishes/maintains a system of records and files for inventory transactions and initiates transfer of documents for storage according to retention policies.
- Maintains custody of documents stored at the warehouse location and directs document destruction activities according to regulatory protocols.
- Maintains custody and directs disposition of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment transferred/stored at the warehouse location.
- Develops/updates policies and procedures for inventory processes.
- Observes safety rules, and ensures and maintains a safe and orderly environment.
- Keeps all warehouse and store areas clean, safe, orderly and functioning properly.
- Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of Sourcing and Material Management Systems (Stratton Warren or Red Rock experience preferred).
- Knowledge of terminology used regarding supplies, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) for food products.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of issuance and receipt of inventory.
- Ability to monitor, control and assist in usage or disposal of excess and obsolete inventory.
