What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Warehouse Analyst II - ST position at Desert Financial Credit Union?
The Data Warehouse Analyst II is responsible for building data extracts/interfaces between systems, supporting business intelligence and data mining initiatives. In addition, they provide daily operational support and participates in the development of data warehouse and report development standards.
What you will do here:
Gather business requirements to design, develop and deliver data extracts, interfaces and reports
Provides daily Operational support to assess and resolve break/fix related issues
Participates in the design, development, and implementation of solutions to support Business goals
Participates in the development and provides guidance in the creation of data warehouse and report development standards
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
High School Diploma or Ged required.
Bachelor's degree or some college courses; Information Technology or Information Systems preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience required.
4 years experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment in a similar position/role required.
4 years experience with reporting tools, software, and applications including Crystal and SQL Reporting Services required.
3 years experience with financial services industry core and ancillary systems and business processes required.
3 years experience in using ETL tools. Experience with databases, data warehouse or data lakes required.
Proven experience with report writing, technical requirements analysis and data modeling required.
Moderate SQL programming required.
Practical knowledge in importing data for use in reports, spreadsheets and graphs required.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills required.
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required.
Logical and efficient with keen attention to detail required.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure required.
Strong customer service skills required.
