What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Support Analyst I position at Desert Financial Credit Union?
The Operations Support Analyst drives system adoption within the Credit Union by coordinating project activities to improve and streamline business processes. They work closely with key stakeholders and a team of analysts to provide feedback on cross-team processes, identify opportunities for efficiency, and ensure up-to-date procedures are in place. Daily activities include system testing, providing ongoing system support, and coordinating system configuration with technology partners.
What you will do here:
Manage and maintain credit union accurate notary and STAMP programs and databases. Assist in new notary and STAMP appointments and in notary renewals. Seek and communicates changes in notary guidelines from the Secretary of State.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to document business needs of cross-functional teams. Analyze processes with consideration to both existing and future strategy, evaluate options, and identify process support recommendations. Builds and maintains professional relationships, communicating clearly and timely to ensure delivery of an excellent experience to both the system user and Credit Union member.
Develop and implement an ongoing support plan through management and configuration of systems used within the organization. Translate business requirements to technical requirements to coordinate system configuration with technology partners. Partner with internal stakeholders to conduct functional tests of various systems and applications, as well as troubleshooting to identify enhancements or corrections as necessary.
Establish and maintain organized tracking of project phases and reporting statuses to key participants by documenting key decisions regarding project activities and overall project status.
Complete audits and sales reporting as assigned and reports any trends or anomalies to Operations Support or Branch Leadership. These audits may include the following: loan pre-qualification offer tracking, annual KeyStone role audit, safe deposit box recon, cash count audit, and over/short audit.
Maintain knowledge of the Credit Union's departments and how they interact with one another to understand the needs of the business. Translate these needs into functional and efficient processes.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
High School Diploma or GED required.
1 year related experience or working on project teams required.
1 year working in a financial instituion required.
1 experience working with core financial system (KeyStone preferred) preferred.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work autonomously to drive initiatives forward required.
Demonstrated ability to navigate difficult conversations with cross-functional teams required.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with cross-functional teams required.
Strong written and verbal communication required.
Demonstrated knowledge of how financial institutions operate; cross department training is a plus required.
Demonstrated knowledge of financial products and services; retail banking required.
Strong decision making skills required.
Technical aptitude to assess functionality of systems and procedures required.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work autonomously required.
Strong ability to effectively collaborate with others required.
Demonstrated ability to pivot and multi-task required.
