We are seeking an Experienced Drywaller to join our team, specializing in high-quality drywall installation and finishing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restoration industry, with expertise in various techniques related to drywall, plaster, and stucco. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional results on every project.
Responsibilities
- Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings according to specifications.
- Finish drywall surfaces by taping, mudding, and sanding to achieve a smooth finish.
- Perform door hanging and frame carpentry as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation.
- Apply caulking and other sealants to enhance the durability of installations.
- Conduct repairs related to water damage restoration and mold remediation.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a drywaller with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Familiarity with stucco application techniques is preferred.
- Knowledge of restoration industry practices, particularly in water damage restoration and mold remediation.
- Experience in frame carpentry is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
