Primary Responsibilities :
- Provide daily instruction to students
- Plan and implement evidence-based instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, that reflect understanding of evaluation data, learning styles, and the educational needs of students on current caseload
- Collaborate with colleagues in planning, developing, and accommodating / modifying general education curricula as needed
- Plan and supervise assignments for paraprofessionals
- Create, implement, and monitor behavior plans
- Comply with all state and federal rules, regulations, and statues relating to special education. This includes, but is not limited to, understanding, and following all timelines related to due dates on IEP and MET paperwork, child studies, and parent requests (verbal and written)
