Detox Technician / Behavioral Health Technician

In this role, you will provide essential support to clients undergoing detoxification, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities :
Supervise and monitor clients throughout their detox process.
Conduct client rounds, check vital signs, and document in KIPU .
Read and update shift logs to ensure smooth communication between shifts.
Perform intake procedures for new admissions, including urinalysis (UA), belongings searches, and paperwork completion .
Assess client withdrawal symptoms using CIWA and COWS forms .
Oversee client medication in accordance with program guidelines.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations .
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and making copies.
Help with general facility upkeep, including light housekeeping duties .
Support a safe, clean, and structured environment for clients.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
RADT certification required .
Ability to maintain professionalism and strong boundaries while providing compassionate care.
Must pass a physical exam, TB test, and drug screening .
If in recovery, candidates must have at least one year of continuous sobriety .
Knowledge of 12-step recovery programs is a plus , but not mandatory.
Compensation :
Pay is based on experience and education .
