Desert Peace Therapy is growing, and we’re looking for a dedicated Associate Clinical Therapist to join our team of caring professionals. At Desert Peace Therapy, we specialize in providing individualized therapy for children, families, and individuals in the Las Vegas community. Our practice is built on a foundation of warmth, empathy, and evidence-based approaches, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We pride ourselves on fostering a mindful, team-oriented culture where both clients and therapists feel valued and supported.
This is a full-time W2 position offering a mix of in-person and telehealth therapy sessions, tailored to both client needs and therapist preferences. As an Associate Clinical Therapist, you will work under the supervision of our experienced team of licensed therapists, gaining hands-on experience while building your clinical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and supervisors.
- Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities, with a focus on working with children aged 4 to 17 years old.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation of client sessions and progress notes.
- Participate in regular supervision and team meetings for continued professional development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, client-centered care.
Qualifications:
- Active licensure in Nevada as an MFT-I or CPC-I.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Therapy, or related field.
- Strong desire to grow as a clinician and provide compassionate, personalized care.
- Basic clinical skills in PCIT, CBT, DBT, or related evidence-based modalities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children and families in a therapeutic setting.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive Compensation: Earn an estimated $65,000 to $76,000 annually. Compensation includes hourly therapy sessions and administrative hours to cover no shows, cancellations, and other related tasks.
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a flexible schedule with regular office hours (Monday–Friday, 9AM–5PM) and the option to schedule sessions outside standard hours based on therapist preference.
