Job Responsibilities :
- Develop positive relationships with drivers and customers to increase overall retention.
- Coordinate daily logistic of the shipping points, driver / mixers and delivery points.
- Check to make sure all trucks are on assigned jobs as soon as you come in.
- Check if trucks are on time to job sites. If there is an issue and they are running late, let the jobsite contact know.
- Do your very best to ensure the customer receives the product they requested, how they requested it and when they requested it.
- Timing is very important, as is reacting quickly to all situations.
- Dispatching company drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests.
- Ensure special instructions and / or site-specific requirements are relayed to company drivers.
- Communicate information to supervisors, drivers, via messaging, telephone, and internal dispatching system.
- Assist with schedules as needed throughout the day.
- Schedule : Monday-Friday w / a rotating on-call weekend schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned by management team.
