What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Services Tech Per Diem Rotate position at Desert Regional Medical Center?
Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385-bed acute-care hospital classified as a stroke receiving center and level 2 trauma facility with an innovative, patient centered and evidence-based Rehabilitation Services Department. Our compassionate team provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute care rehabilitation, joint replacement & spinal surgery, neurosurgery, ICU, Telemetry, step-down care, skilled nursing, as well as outpatient therapy, hand and lymphedema clinics.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Under the Supervision of the DOMM/ADOMM, responsible for processing supply stock requests, conducting medical supply inventories, stocking of medical carts, and department shelf locations with a focus on accuracy, integrity and sterility of supplies. Maintains orderly distribution room. Processes issue and credits via IMMS. Process patient charges in Cerner. Restocks and verifies counts in Pyxis. Delivers and maintains hospital equipment. Utilizes proper ergonomic and lifting techniques in performance of duties.
Shift: Rotating between 0700-1530, 1100-1930, 1500-2330, 2300-0730
