Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Rheumatology Infusion Clinic. The LVN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive appropriate care while adhering to established protocols and standards.
Duties
- IV placements
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist with medical procedures
- Perform phlebotomy for lab tests as needed.
- Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures.
- Provide care for patients with acute pain management needs
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
Experience
Candidates should have a valid LVN license.
- IV placement.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Medical-surgical nursing
