We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian Substitute to join our team. As a substitute custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other common areas.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed.
- Empty trash and recyclables from receptacles.
- Restock supplies and materials as needed.
- Perform light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and unclogging drains.
- Assist with event setup and teardown.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous custodial experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Schedule:
This is a substitute position, meaning you will work on an as-needed basis. The hours and days of the week will vary depending on the needs of the district. You may be required to work during peak periods, such as holidays and summer months.
