Summary
Desert Spring is seeking full-time teachers for the 2–3 year-old classrooms for the Fall 2025–2026 school year. We are looking for energetic, positive, and team-oriented educators to join our team. Ideal candidates have experience working with young children, a passion for early childhood education, and a commitment to creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

Duties
Key Responsibilities :
Foster warm, respectful, and compassionate communication with children.
Collaborate with colleagues to design engaging indoor and outdoor classroom environments that promote exploration, independence, and peer-to-peer learning.
Observe and document children’s learning experiences to highlight their growth and foster reflection.
Provide hands-on guidance and support during play, exploration, and creative activities.
Assist children with daily routines, including diapering, potty training, meals, and rest periods.
Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and well-being.
Communicate regularly with parents through Procare, email, and virtual meetings as needed.
Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-wide events.
Maintain professional requirements through the Arizona Early Childhood Workforce Registry .
Keep current fingerprint clearance and TB testing records.
Requirements
Minimum one year working in childcare setting
Strong written and verbal skills
Ability to lead and work with an assistant teacher
Two to three professional references
Nice To Haves
Familiarity or experience in a Reggio inspired school
Familiarity or experience in child-lead environments, such as Montessori or Waldorf
Knowledge of Quality First assessment process
Experience working with a designated Quality First coach
Coursework or degree in early childhood education or similar field
