Desert View provides safe and competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. We provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for providing pre-hospital emergency care and transportation for patients requiring medical attention. The EMT will assess patients, administer basic life support (BLS), and assist in emergency procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.Key Responsibilities : Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide efficient, compassionate pre-hospital care.Perform patient assessments and determine the appropriate course of action.Administer basic life support (BLS), including CPR, oxygen therapy, bleeding control, and splinting.Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities while monitoring vital signs.Communicate effectively with dispatch, paramedics, hospital staff, and law enforcement.Maintain accurate patient care reports and documentation in compliance with regulations.Ensure ambulances and medical equipment are clean, stocked, and in working condition.Follow all protocols, safety guidelines, and hospital policies.
