Desert View provides safe and competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. We provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.\n\nThe Licensed Nurse (LPN / LVN or RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and state regulations. This role involves assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \nProvide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions.\nAdminister medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.\nAssist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.\nCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.\nEducate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.\nMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and medical records.\nRespond to emergencies and provide immediate nursing interventions as needed.\nFollow infection control protocols and hospital safety procedures.\nQualifications : \nActive Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN / LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada.
