Industrial Maintenance Technician (Overhead Cranes)

As a Crane Service Technician, your duties will include:

• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspection, and modernization of industrial equipment.
• Communicating and offering customer support for parts and material orders.
• Preparing required reports and administrative paperwork.
• Accompanying sales personnel for occasional calls and follow-ups.
• Working in various environments which may require standing, walking, bending, and crawling.
• Must be passionate about offering great customer service.
• Working at heights and frequent travel within the Territory.
• Occasional overnight travel.
• Our techs must be able to communicate effectively via phone and email. Basic computer skills are required.
• We expect our techs to work in a close team atmosphere.

You are a great fit for our team if you have:

• A strong background in AC and DC electromechanical and solid state motor control systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams. (Able to troubleshoot without prints on occasion)
• Mechanical experiences with gear reducers and drive systems a plus.
• Prior overhead crane experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team.
• Basic computer skills to work with web-based applications.
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• A commitment to working safely.

Experience:

• 480V, 3 Phase Electrical: 2 years (Required)
• Hydraulics: 1 year (Preferred)
• PLC troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Overhead Crane Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
• Motor Controls: 1 year (Required)
• Schematics: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Dover, DE 19905: Relocate before starting work (Required)
