What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overhead Crane Service Technician IV position at DeSHAZO, LLC?
Position: Overhead Crane Service Technician IV
Location: Lancaster, PA
The Service Technician IV will travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment while leading a team of Crane Technicians and supporting customer requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years of crane service technician or industrial electrician experience.
- Must have Strong Electrical troubleshooting skills (480V AC and 12/24-volt DC)
- Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in managing projects of large scales, including quote preparation, pre-job meeting, staging of materials, preparing timeline of job tasks, daily onsite paperwork, lift plans, job hazard analysis, etc.
- Shows ability to be a leader, and a willingness to mentor less experienced Technicians.
- Proficient in customer service, ability to understand customer needs and address them correctly.
- Ability to work extended hours, and on holidays, as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand/walk 95% of the work day.
- Lift /Carry up to 40-50 pounds unassisted.
- Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently.
- Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance.
- Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine).
- Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.
- Possess the ability to hear.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Subject to working frequently at considerable heights.
- Exposure to hot and cold conditions.
