Job Description
The Job: The QA Supervisor is responsible for maintaining Food Safety and Quality Assurance Management Systems to support manufacturing of wholesome and quality food. This includes implementing microbiological programs and managing product specification & compliance with labeling.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for approving new ingredients and packaging
- Support product development and launch
- Lead inspections from the Agriculture Department
Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 years quality experience in food manufacturing environment (dairy preferred)
- Knowledge of FDA, and Experience with 3rd party food safety audits
- Proficiency in quality management systems and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma)
