About the role
At Design Bridge and Partners, we are passionate about building and nurturing long-term client relationships through creative leadership and strategic insight. As a Design Director in our Amsterdam studio, you’ll play a vital role in leading projects, inspiring teams, and delivering high-quality, innovative design solutions, with a particular focus on alcohol and luxury brands. We have a deep understanding of our clients' needs, and our proactive approach means we consistently exceed expectations. You will bring this understanding into your projects, ensuring that our clients in the alcohol and luxury sectors receive outstanding work that reflects their brand and drives their business forward.
In this role, you will lead the creative process from start to finish, guiding the design team to produce exceptional work while managing resources, timelines, and budgets. You will work closely with the Client Director to ensure that projects are strategically aligned with the client’s objectives, delivering solutions that are insightful, intuitive, and tailored to the luxury and alcohol markets. As the creative lead, you’ll also be responsible for presenting work to clients with confidence and clarity, maintaining the high standards that Design Bridge and Partners is known for.
About you
We are looking for an experienced and inspirational Design Director with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in alcohol, drinks and/or luxury brands. You will have a strong ability to lead projects, make critical design judgements, and inspire the creative team throughout every stage of the project. Your experience working with premium brands will be a key asset, as you’ll understand how to translate their unique values into compelling and high-end design solutions.
You should have excellent people skills and a collaborative spirit, thriving in a team environment while working closely with Creative Directors and other stakeholders. Strong verbal communication and presentation skills are essential, as you’ll be responsible for articulating the creative vision and rationale to your team and to clients. A proactive, dedicated, and flexible attitude is a must, with a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure that both the team and the client are satisfied with the final output.
