We are looking to add an experienced and motivated event captain to join our Design Cuisine team! As an event captain, you will have the opportunity to ensure smooth food service for a variety of events and supervise front and back of house activity at Historic Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello!
This is a part-time, on-call role. Enjoy weekly paycheck, flexible schedules, referral program & more! Background and Drug screening is required for this role. Compensation is $38/hour depending on experience.

What you'll be doing:
- Leading a team of event staff and kitchen staff to direct a successful service.
- Facilitating transportation of equipment and service, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of catering equipment and storage areas, and room decoration.
- Handling customer service needs.
- Excellent communication and organization skills, attention to detail, and service knowledge.
- At least two years of experience as a service lead or supervisor in a hotel or catering environment.
