Project Architect

Design Develop is seeking Project Architects with 6-10 years of experience to join our team in Baltimore, MD.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The desired candidate will be actively involved in executing and developing projects of various project typologies. The project architect will be responsible for the architectural design, project

development, construction drawings and project management on a day-to-day basis. Participate in coordinating project documents with clients, consultants, and other team members. The candidate must demonstrate strong design and technical skills and an ability to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a full-time, in-person role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

●      Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree from an NAAB-accredited program

●      Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction and construction documentation

●      Ability to manage client, team and project coordination, including documentation coordination with consultants

●      Mentor, provide oversight, and guide the work performed by junior staff members

●      Proficiency and experience in 3D modeling, rendering, and presentation development using software such as Sketchup, Lumion, Twinmotion, Adobe Suite, Autocad, and MS Office

●      Proficiency in Revit

●      Licensed or pursuing licensure

●      Ability to work well within a dynamic team environment

●      Strong communication skills, work ethic, ability to self-manage, and work independently

●      Enthusiasm for continued growth and learning

●      Desire to grow into a long-term role at the firm
