Position Overview:
As a Electrical Helper, you’ll assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial construction projects. You’ll be a vital part of our team, learning a skilled trade, working safely, and growing your career in a company that believes in building people.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the installation and repair of electrical materials, devices, and fixtures.
· Measure and cut conduit, Unistrut, and materials using hand and power tools.
· Learn and apply skills like conduit bending and fabrication of supports.
· Pull wire through conduit systems for branch and feeder circuits.
· Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.
· Participate in daily safety meetings, job site briefings, and stretch-and-flex routines.
· Follow supervisor instructions and ask questions to learn and improve.
Requirements:
· Familiarity with hand tools and power tools with a focus on safety.
· Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
· Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.
· Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn a skilled trade.
· Desire to enroll in an apprenticeship program or pursue on-the-job training.
