What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator - 6am-4pm Mon-Thurs position at Design Group Americas?
- Follow established safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Productively operating production machinery within quality standards defined by the Company based on production schedule
- Cross training to operate other department machinery
- Cleaning work area to maintain clean and orderly work environment
- Supplying area with materials for efficient operation
- Accurately entering production data into the computer
- Accurately completing paperwork required for department
- All other duties as assigned
Required Experience
- Good math skills
- Legible handwriting
- Average weight lifted with assistance is 80-90 lbs.
- Receptiveness to training for computer data entry and retrieval; prior experience in this area a plus
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to distinguish colors
- Must have flexibility to work overtime as needed on short notice
- Must have previous experience in Flexo printing
