We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on large-scale commercial construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily job site operations, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and quality standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to maintain efficiency and resolve issues
- Oversee and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate execution of work
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, daily reports, and progress tracking
- Lead site meetings, provide project updates, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Superintendent on large-scale commercial construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
- Experience managing RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management and scheduling software such as Procore or Primavera P6 is a plus
