Job Description
We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing HVAC, plumbing, and other building mechanical systems for commercial projects. This role involves utilizing AutoCAD and Revit to develop detailed designs and ensure compliance with MEP standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and experience delivering high-quality mechanical solutions for commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for commercial building projects, ensuring compliance with MEP standards.
- Prepare detailed construction documents and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system analysis to optimize building performance.
- Oversee the selection and specification of mechanical equipment to meet project requirements.
- Conduct field inspections to verify system installation and ensure adherence to design and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support during construction, addressing issues and ensuring system functionality.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, building codes, and best practices to improve system designs and efficiency.
