We’re seeking an experienced Senior Structural Project Manager with a proven background in building design and analysis. This role will involve managing structural engineering projects from design to execution, providing mentorship to junior engineers, and overseeing project estimates, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and analysis of building structures ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Manage multiple structural engineering projects, overseeing all phases from concept to completion.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and project teams, fostering professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver project solutions on time and within budget.
- Prepare and manage project estimates, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure all designs meet the necessary regulatory and safety standards, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Maintain project documentation and reports, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BS Degree required); Master’s degree preferred.
- Active New York Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Will consider other states.
- Proficiency in Staad, RISA, Revit, and AutoCAD for structural design and analysis.
- Proven experience in managing building design and analysis projects.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on team mentorship.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
